Dear boy on the bus.
Thank you for reassuring me that not every guy on the planet is a D-Bag and that chivalry is not dead. For you to give up your seat for me on the extremely crowded bus, when it would have been more convenient to stay seated, makes my heart warm. You will make some girl very happy one day and she will feel like a princess. Also, I'd like to thank your mamma for the wonderful manners she taught you. You are an exceptional young man who isn't too bad on the eyes either. Thank you for your kindness, once again.

Dear McDonalds,
I am seriously very disappointed in the french fries I was given today in my kids meal. Seriously, Mini-Size me? The fries were the size of my toe. Please fix that.

Dear Trevor,

These past two years have flown by. I seriously can't believe that you are coming home! It still blows my mind that there are only 17 days 'till I see your face. I feel like so much has happened, yet, at the same time, not too much at all. I can't wait to see the changed young man you've become and see how much you've grown. We both have. You've been a huge strength and example to me and I look up to you more than you know. I knew I could turn to you and vent and whine to you when I felt I couldn't go anywhere else. You always sent me words of encouragement and assured me that I am better than I think I am and that I have a lesson to learn. You made me feel worthwhile when I felt worthless, at times. I love your randomness and how much personality you put into your letters. They always had the 'Trevor' feel. Also, your weekly emails and pictures always seemed to make my day go better. Going to the mailbox and seeing my name on the envelope and yours in the return address seriously made my entire week. I'm going to miss that. However, having you be only a few hours away vs. the entire country away, will be much nicer. I am so grateful for your friendship over the years and I can't wait for the times to come. I am looking forward to your morning texts and the random hangouts again. Please enjoy the last few weeks of your mission and realize how proud your friends, family, and most importantly; the Lord is of you. I can't wait to see you and hear the many stories you haven't shared yet.
